I have been using MS DNS Server for about a month now, But i created a new zone for the domain name LIService.com, Here in the information I have entered:

;
; Database file liservice.com.dns for liservice.com zone.
; Zone version: 7l
;

@ IN SOA ns.vslink.net. Administrator.vslink.net. (
7 ; serial number
1200 ; refresh
600 ; retry
86400 ; expire
3600 ) ; minimum TTL

;
; Zone NS records
;

@ IN NS ns.vslink.net.

;
; Zone records
;

@ IN A 24.189.231.165
@ IN MX 0 mail
www IN A 24.189.231.165

The problem is that I cannot get to the website from my computer or any other computer on the network because we get a DNS error, but some people out on the internet can view it and some can't. I know whats going through your mind right now "Give it time to propogate properly" well i gave it 3 weeks and im running out of patience, Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I've only ever had problems with the MS DNS. And in W2k you'll also need a secondary W2k DNS server another MS fault. You should setup a FreeBSD/Linux box just to do your DNS on a 486 with 16/32MB ram.

It seems also that you have 1 NS record where there should be 2 -- you need a primary & secondary record with the secondary on a seperate server. you should also change your MX preference to 5.
