Hi - hopefully someone can help with my query below:
I am attempting to import - from a csv file - around 35 Lead records into CRM (v4.0). As part of this import, I'd like all Lead records contained within the csv file, to be linked to a particular Marketing Campaign. My import is failing, as CRM puts it, due to: "the source data is not in the required format". I guess this is due to the Marketing Campaign field/entity being a look-up.
The Marketing Campaign name is 'CIH Delivering Extracare 6-7 April 2011', so because this is one of two Marketing Campaigns already setup within CRM, I have added the GUID for this Campaign into the CSV file, so that CRM knows which of the existing Marketing Campaign is to be used to link to these new Lead records. This hasn't worked and I get the same error as above.
For info, the Source Campaign column (column header name: 'Source campaign') in my CSV file looks like this:
"CIH Delivering Extracare 6-7 April 2011,{34A94466-D470-E011-95C7-005056946F1C}"
Can anyone help please?
