Hi All,

Iam after a general overview what thoughts are about outputting cube data via MSExcel?

I personally find it so slow and time consuming....especially when trying to filter objects, the list is of values is so long the workbook just times out....

What's the best way to represent the cube data?

Many Thanks

While not ahuge fan of excel on top of cubes it does have it's uses and the improvements from previous versions are massive. If excel times out loading a very high level pivot table then you may want to look at design and perfomance of your cube. There are various options both from MS and other vedors to allow access to a cube. Each one has it's pros and cons and just depends on your needs.
