In Access i have a program made but am unable to compile it so that it works without having to open Access if anyone knows how to do this please HELP!! [sig][/sig]

It's a little different for different versions of Access. For '97 you need to buy the MS Office Professional Developers edition. This allows you to package a database with a runtime only version of access.

(This is a real hack tohough, if you install one of these on a machine that also has the full version of Access you will break their Access since the runtime is simply a patched version of the fiull package and installs on top of the full package..)

If you're trying to write a distrutable "commersial" typ of application you should re-do the whole thing in VB and complile it. Hi

I wonder how can I print on an external printer in my Win98 dial-up network from my Access2000 application?

Regards
Mohan.
