recently my ms access wont open. not a single db. but access itself. Ive tried opening and making a new db and ive tried transferring existing dbs to another machine where they all work fine. i've removed ms office from the computer and reinstalled several times with the same results. everything else on the computer appears to be in perfect working order. I've even gone to the ms website and updated office to make sure i was current. every time I try to open it I get the ms box...MICROSOFT HAS FOUND A PROBLEM AND WILL BE SHUT DOWN,

has any one dealt with something like this before?

Is your computer on a network? If so, your problem can happen when the network administrator has set up a policy / permission which restricts Windows' ability to run a process which is required before Access will run.
