MS ACCESS VBA CODES TO CAPTURE WEIGHT OF VEHICLE ON A WEIGHING BRIDGE

I have a small Access Database System that manages Axle Load weights but at the moment, the weight displays on a display monitor for the attendant to type into the system. Can anyone help me through a process of programming the VBA to automatically read the weight from the bridge and store it or display it in my text box on an Access form? Thanks in advance.

Probably impossible without a thorough technical knowledge of the other system.

If you can connect the scale to the computer and has an API interface then it is probably possible. If you are really lucky there will be a supplied example to read the data in either Excel or Access (Excel VBA examples are easily adaptable to Access VBA).

Beyond that, there are tons of examples around the web on implementing reading data via API calls.
