Can someone provide me some guidance regarding "How to" convert an Access application to SQL? Is there a book that I could buy? Any articles that I could read? Any software that I could buy or freeware for the conversion? Any online training?

The application has an extension of mdb (2003).

Any guidances and/or suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you for collaboration.

Luis

Hi,

Do you mean convert Jet Structured Query Language to SQL Server Structured Query Language?

Skip,

for a NUANCE![tongue]

Not sure. But what I want to do is to convert the mdb back-end tables to SQL server or MySQL. In addition, to determine the code changes (If any) to to front end (Jet Engine) interfaces.

The answer to your question is "yes". Because I'm sure that I will need to convert the queries to SQL server.

Thank you for questions to clarify what specific I'm asking for.

Luis
