MY
I'm a newbies to Notes.
I have a question in my head that i would like to ask,
I figured out how to import database from Access to Notes.

But there is a problem i don't understand is the database structure of notes. For example in Access Table, we need to define a unique primary key in each table.
So how if I wanna put all the tables in Notes. Does notes has this primary key thing,
Do i store my imported Access Table in a Notes View or Folder.
I have totally no idea? can someone give me a guide.

Thanks ya.

An image that might help.

Think of a view as being your table. You can look at one or more columns in the view. each row you see is a record in your table, in notes it's a document. Each document has all the information in fields. Notes uses a docid as the promary key so it just considers your access primary key as an additional column of data.

Notes is not a relational database.

As for view or folder in this instance you need to decide if it's the only table you'll be importing from that database. You can set up each table in it's own folder and this uses less overhead than creating a different view for each table.
