I am building a survey type database. Many customer service tickets with about 17 question per ticket. I have read about junction tables but I don't understand how the 17 questions get into the junction table. I know I can choose them from a combo box, but I would much rather they simply show up. Help?

seniram,

Welcome to Tek-Tips. It's a great place to get help. One thing to keep in mind to get the best answers is to post your question in the most appropriate forum. Being as you're new, you probably don't know the forums right off.

Best way to find what you need is to search for them - type a keyword or two, and make sure that "Find a Form" is selected, and search. It should give you the most accurate results. If you're ever not sure, just go ahead and make your best guess.

Here is a FAQ that tells more detail about how to get the best answers to your questions at Tek-Tips:
faq20-2883

Also, for this specific question, being you're dealing with Access Tables, I'd suggest you post in the following forum:
forum700

And really quick for now on your question so far:
I have read about junction tables but I don't understand how the 17 questions get into the junction table.

As far as how to get the data into the tables, that depends. It can be done via Form recordsets, VBA, and/or Queries.

But if you want to get more help, check out the FAQ link I posted, and then post possibly a better formed question over in the correct forum. [smile]
