MS Access Runtime 2010 quick question..

Very quick question hopefully.

Can you download and use Runtime without any version of MS Office being installed on a pc?

We were unsure if there was any dependency on having a standard version of Office installed as we were getting errors associated with a deployment.

We were trying to use 2010 runtime for a Access 2010 database on a Windows 10 build and it seems that is where the problem was.

Once we downloaded Access Runtime 2016 it fired in to action with Windows 10.

so the conclusion is that a machine does not require or have a dependancy on any version of MSOffice to use Runtime

The link I provided includes a section called entitled "Requirements", the contents of which should reassure you that no installation of Office is required.
