I HAVE AN ACCESS DB FOR MY SPARE PARTS. THE FIRST COLUMN IS SET TO AUTONUMBER. OVER TIME, I HAVE ACCIDENTALLY DELETED DUPLICATE RECORDS, WHICH ALSO REMOVES THE SEQUENTIAL AUTONUMBER. CAN THE NUMBER BE REPLACED? IF SO, HOW?

THANX

In all that I have read the only way to reset an auto number is to delete all the data from the table, then run "Compact and Repair Database" from the "Tools, Database Utilities" menu.
