Well I am not sure if I am posting this thread in the correct place! I have written a program in MS Access. I want to create a button that copies a record to the end of the list. I can do this by selecting a record and using copy and paste but would like it to be done automatically. Do you think I should record a macro and if so how? Thanks

You can do it with the windows scripting host (WSH) if it is all keyboard driven. This can be done either in VBScript or Javascript. It cannot be done with WSH if it is mouse driven.

Look up sendkeys in VBScript or JavaScript under WSH.
