I've written a report in Crystal 7 that uses an ODBC link to MS Access and our Unix database. When I preview the report while designing, everything works fine. Once I compile the report and run the exe file, it prompts me for a password to log on to the MS Access Database, with user name admin.

Nothing I enter works and there is no password set for admin. [sig][/sig]

You will get a password prompt anytime Crystal can't read the file. This is often an indication that there is some type of connection problem.

Check for permissions from the compiled client, or changes to the database path. [sig]
Ken Hamady- href= Reports Training by Ken Hamady
[/sig]
