I have an application with an MS Access 97 Front-end and SQL Server 7 database. I have a stored procedure on the database that receives a date parameter. Based on the parameter it selects records, creates a cursor, processes the records, and inserts them into a different table. The stored procedure then selects the records from this table.
I set up a SQL pass-through query in MS Access. The sytax of the query is
qryCertificatePrint @PrintDate=
If I enter a date using the format 'mm/dd/yyyy' and execute the query, it runs perfectly. I am trying to set up a form that will allow a use to input a date and then execute the stored procedure. For some reason, I cannot seem to pass the parameter and execute the procedure. I have tried the .Execute method and the OpenRecordset method to call the stored procedure. Am I going in the wrong direction with these, or is my syntax bad?
Any help would be much appreciated.
