I have a problem with an Microsoft Access 2000 multiuser database.

Citrix is running on windows 2000 server farm.

If a session is terminated incorrectly by turning of the client machine while an Access database is in use, the database is corrupted and access ask for repair while starting the program again.

It does not happen every time. But when it has happened for the first time the database get very sensible.

A symptom could be, that a lot of file sharing locks are apearing on the ldb-file.

We have this problem just in the regular Novell network.
I usually ask everyone to get out the database and delete the connection still locked up. It never asks us to repair though.

Something about their computer freezing and not being able to shut down properly does it to us.
