I have created a form in MS-Access which in on the server. The folder is mapped to multiple users. Now only 1 user can access the form at a time. If the 2nd user has to access the form, the 1st user has to close it because of LDB issue.
The MDB file is shared mode (tools-options...)
Can anybody give me a solution to it as to how can 4-5 users access the form at same time and also should be able to read, write, insert data.

TIA

I have created back-end and front-end database. The FE has the forms, reports, queries abd linked tables, whereas the BE has the tables.
By doing so, the data doesn't gets updated upfront. Its only post all the users shuts the database and opens it up again , they are able to view an updated data.
What is the solution to get the updated data immediately rather than shut & open database frequently.

TIA

I assume users are not able to see the updates and new records entered by other users within your application. Simply opening and closing the form should work rather than the entire database.

You should be able to refresh or requery your form to view all new and updated records.

It sounds like you are opening the form which is bound to all records. This generally isn't good practice. Typically a form would be opened to a single record. There may be subforms that display multiple related records.

Also, each user should have their own copy of the front-end on their local PC.
