Hi again, what im trying to do is a holiday request system and when the process is complete a request will be logged with an approver, but that approver needs to know theres is a request for them to approve. we are using access 97 and outlook for e-mail can you just give an example on how it works because for some reason it wouldnt work using the below format

DoCmd.SendObject [objecttype][, objectname][, outputformat][, to][, cc][, bcc][, subject][, messagetext][, editmessage][, templatefile]
