I am using Access 2000. I have created several bar charts that I have combined on a summary page via subreports. Everytime I print it I get two copies. The individual reports only print once.

I expect your main report has a record source containing two records.

How would I verify this is the case. The main report only provides one chart, as it should. The sub-report version outputs the same data twice.

Check the record source properties of the report and subreport. Do you even need record sources?

Also, there may be a need for values in the Link Master/Child properties but you haven't provided anything to go on.

I have nothing in the record source properties for either the report or the sub-report.
I will try to define my problem a little better:

I have created a count query the returns four "buckets"
I then took this query and created a bar chart report utilizing the chart wizard.
Once I created the report I put it into a Summary Report via the subreport option, I did this because I am trying to provide a report that management can quickly look at.

I also get an occasional chart that has no data. I can rerun the report, with no modification to anything, and the chart will populate properly again. I am not sure if this is realated or not.

Thanks. I think the web site helped me fix the data refresh problem. I figured out the double chart printing problem on my own, finally. If your chart is outside the printable area of the page it reprints the entire chart on the next page, not just the part that is overhanging!!
