Hello All,

I am working on an Access DB in which I want to have custom ID values that will prevent data to be captured on any zero ending ID.

e.g The table below show name values entered from ID 1 to 9 then nothing is captured at 10 then from 11 to 19 then nothing on 20 ......
The idea is to have a batch filing system of 10 records max.

ID Name

1 JB
2 TN
3 PL
4 HG
6 DF
7 AN
8 WX
9 AL
10
11 MM

Kindly assist

If you want 10 records max - why are you restricting it to 9?

Please explain more fully - this has 'spread sheet' thinking stamped all over it. [dazed]
