Hi there,

I have very little experience using MS Access and have a few questions I would like to ask.
1. I would like to know if it is possible to enable
auditing on an MS Access database, is this possible?
2. Can I create a trigger (like in SQL Server) on a table
in MS Access?
3. How do I manage users/security in MS Access so that I
have only 1 admin and give the rest of the users only
read access?

Thanks!
J.

1. No. But there are ways to do it with code, and this question has been asked many times. Do a search on the FAQs.

2. No. The Jet database engine does not support triggers.

3. Again, this has been asked many times. Search the FAQs for security. Or simply look up Security in the Help file.

Hi,

Thank you for the good reply. I guess I should have looked at the FAQ's first.
