I have users under XP 6a using a database in Access97, when they are working with some of the forms checking boxes or clicking on the pencil, they get kick out of Access. I have users under Windows NT 4.0 using the same database and they are not experiencing the same problem.
Any ideas? How can this problem be fixed?
thanks,

I get the impression there are incompatibilities between eg XP and 97. Where I work, the standard build has both 97 and 2003 on the desktop to get around this.

Exactly Mike!

I have seen way too many problems when using Access 2K or XP with an Access 97 database. It seems to be smoother to install A97 / Office 97 in a separate directory. You will have to watch for file associations - A97 and XP may swap ownership of the MDB association.
