Hope someone can help me on this one!

We are currently migrating to Livelink and I am moving over an access databse that deals with leave request into the enterprise area of livelink.

The database currently has an ms infopath form connected to it for data submission and an excel sheet for analysis. On the old server with a drive letter (G) the pathnames were obvious to link these files i.e. G:/My Docs/exmaple.mdb etc.

However as Livelink has no drive letters how do i give these applications valid paths to follow - what format should they take, and has anyone else dealt with this issue

Thanks for your help

H'mm I will try to answer this but it may not be very easy.

Livelnk is a DMS,if you put an access database in it(?) when somebody clicks on it it will be downloaded to the clicker's computer and livelink has completed the transaction. At this point from the clicker's computer if the various paths are active it will work.Note livelink is absolutely not aware of this.It has downloaded a copy of it just like it would have downloaded a PDF or a Word Document.

Livelink undesratnds webdav so most probably excel links with webdav may work.

Sorry I do not know anything more on this subject. If you can replicate the access application with webforms in livelink then you may possibly have a livelink application.

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?
