I am getting the following error
"ms access 97 the ole server isn't registered"

I have searched for the error on the internet and according to the resolutions I did removed Norton and then Office 97 and then reinstalled Office 97 with its patches 1 and 2 but the error still exists. Now I am looking forward to one of you guys to help me out with this problem.

PS: I also been to the Microsoft.com and tried to work on the resolution "Type the full path to the new file in the File Name box", but I have no success till yet, now I am relying on you guys to help me out.
Thanks

I just had this problem. I had the ocx stored in two different places. I had registered the control using the tools-->ActiveX menu in access. Then later, I registered the control again using regsvr32.exe, but registered the other copy that was stored on my machine. After I did this Access gave the "Ole server isn't registered. To register the ole server, reinstall it" error when I tried to put the control on a form. To fix this problem, I ran regsvr32.exe /u filename.ocx in both directories where I stored the ocx. I then registered the control again and it worked.
