MS Access 97 problem

I am running MS Access 97 in a Citrix Winframe 1.7 environment. When I open Access, click on File, Open, nothing happens. It just started happening out of the blue, it worked fine before. Does anybody have any suggestions
 
Were any other versions of Office installed?

Are there any items stuck in task manager?

Have you tried rebooting the server?

Have you tried disk clean?

Does the administrator have the same problem, or just regular users?

Can you reinstall Access?
 
There is only one version of Office installed. I uninstalled Access and reinstalled it, Still did not work. I am the Network Administrator and it does not work for anyone. There are no tasks stuck in task manager. Can you elaborate on Disk Clean? I have rebooted the server. I am having other problems that might be related. Norton Antivirus auto protect does not work either. Do you have any other suggestion? Thank you for your input.
 
See if there is a disk clean utility in the Accessories folder. I know in Metaframe you find it in the Windows or Win NT folder.

Maybe try defragging the machine?

Will other office programs open files?

Are there any office programs running in Start up that could be removed? Find Fast, Office Tool Bar, etc.,

How about a missing default printer? Maybe someone logged in and couldn't print, and the print job is still spooling?
Have you rebooted Citrix?

Did someone change the default directory of Access? Or set up an admin account?

How is your memory allocation?
