I run Windows XP and MS Access 2007.
I have a network with 2 databases that sit in other computers in the network.
One of them is password protected and the other is not.
The one that is password protected, I enter my userid and password and I'm in, without any problems.
On the one that is NOT password protected, I'm getting a prompt for userid and password.
I already tried any combination of userid/passwords (including blank/blank) and nothing.
If I go to a different computer, I can access this database (the one without password) without userid/password.
I already looked in my computer and didn't find and "system.mdw" or any ".mdw" file. The only ".mdw" file in the entire network is the one related to the first database.
What can I do to stop that prompt for userid/password?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
