I have an Access 2000 database that consists of two related tables, and a form/subform combination. If I open the database, I seem to be OK. However, if I open the main form, then the database is locked, and no one else can add data to the database. I have checked all of the “locking” settings. I have even copied the forms to a new database, still not luck. I saw something in a forum that implied this might be the expected action, and that I needed to develop my own recordset handler. Please say it aint so!

Any suggestion would be most appreciated.

Thank you,
