MS 2.0 Proxy Server Log Files 1

I use Proxy Server 'Web Proxy Service' log files to monitor internet site usage in a school. Beside the client computer the Username was also logged however recently the Username has been replaced by 'anonymous'. I do not remember changing any settings. Can anyone explain / tell me how to get back the Username?

check the authentication methods on the default website in mmc

on ours we got anon, basic, and nt authen all turned on. iirc it uses the best one avaliable.
