cant find a forum on this but can someone point me in a good direction on how to run MRTG on a Windows box (They wont allow Linux in my shop!!!! argh) have everythin loaded but cant get the mrtg.cfg file to work correctly.

MRTG on Windows is a pain. It does work but it's not pretty. A better suggestion for Windows is PRTG Traffic Grapher 4 found at I tested it and found it to be very easy to install and works fairly well. Not to mention since it's a commercial product, it's supported :)

I also use the PRTG tool on a Windows machine. It works great and can provide much greater detail than MRTG. I have it up on a wallmounted LCD screen beside my desk and can watch the traffic on my WAN in real time as well as the historic 24 hour graphs. For $50 you can't go wrong!
