MRP: Creating unreleased PO's randomly

Hello,
After MRP regen when I run "Generate Unreleased PO's", The line items are sorted by Item number. I select all items that I want to cut PO's and then I click enter.All good so far!
Now when Unreleased PO is created the line items are sorted randomly. I want it to be sorted by item number so its easier for verification purposes. Is there any logic to how it is writing the line item to PO ?

A quick crystal report should help.

In terms of the logic, if Items A and C have the same vendor, I believe they would end up on the same PO, so you would see A and C together, then item B.

Thank you for your response. Your logic is correct, but I'm only ordering for one vendor at a time. SO all items have same primary vendor, I select item A, Item B and Item C. But when I process it, it goes random eg: it will show Item A, Item C and Item B with no clear logic. All of them have same due dates, same release dates.

My guess then is that it is creating POs in the order of the CP # in Macola. Can you check this?

By the way please always post your Macola version as this can be critical to finding a solution.

I checked the CP number, it is not even sorted by that. Any other thoughts/ideas ? There has to be some logic . By the way my macola version is ES 9.5.100.
