I currently am running Cognos Series 7 IWR, PPES and CQ as well as the client products. My installation of IWR, PPES and CQ have been functioning flawlessly since early spring but I am now being told that I need to upgrade to MR1 for support purposes.
Now to my question, are the installs of the MR1 releases seamless on top of the original Series 7 install. I realize that I would need to shut down my services before doing this, but I'm curious if there are any caveats to upgrading a functioning system to MR1. Has anyone experienced any problems after upgrading?
