Is anyone using MQSecure? Either on the server or Java client? If so, has it worked well? ANy major problems encountered? Thanks

I did an evaluation of MQSecure - although we didn't choose it in the end. Note that this was approx 18 months ago - do't know if they've released a significantly new version since

The product basically works well although you have to be aware of its limitations - key distribution is a real pain and relies upon proprietary standards and this gets worse exponentially as the number of QMgrs increases.

Also unless you are happy to make source code changes you can only implement channel-level encryption which means you won't get application-level authentication.

It wasn't a bad product - just seemed immature. But then depending upon your requirements it may or may not be sufficient.

Cheers,
Paul
