hi all

i need help .Its urgent


Is there any way to copy the messages stored in queues from one server to another

by using saveqmgr i am able to copy the definations but the data or messages in queues are not getting imported

There are packages out there that will do this. I think Capitalware has such a toy. Also take a look at the IBM support packs on their website. (

Other than that you will have to write your own utility to do it.

Not sure why you would want to "store" messages in MQSeries. There are a number of products that will transfer messages from one queue to another. Ascential's DS TX EE will do this in realtime, but is most likely overkill for just this. Disclosure: I do work for Ascential.
