Please forgive me, I'm not exactly 100% on MQ Series admin, etc.
Basically I have a question regarding channels on an MQ Series manager. I would like to know if it is possible to bring up the MQ manager without opening all channels.
E.g. if the channels were open when a manager went down, can I bring up the manager again, but stop the channels opening.
I ask this question to see if it is possible to avoid "opening the floodgates" when recovering from a hypothetical disaster situation....![[wink]](/data/assets/smilies/wink.gif "[wink] [wink]")
This would be useful as it would mean traffic being held in the manager, and would also stop traffic from hitting the manager, avoiding any confusion.....hope the above makes sense.
