Please forgive me, I'm not exactly 100% on MQ Series admin, etc.
Basically I have a question regarding channels on an MQ Series manager. I would like to know if it is possible to bring up the MQ manager without opening all channels.
E.g. if the channels were open when a manager went down, can I bring up the manager again, but stop the channels opening.
I ask this question to see if it is possible to avoid "opening the floodgates" when recovering from a hypothetical disaster situation....
This would be useful as it would mean traffic being held in the manager, and would also stop traffic from hitting the manager, avoiding any confusion.....hope the above makes sense.
Many thanks for the time u spend in replying...
