I've set up a QMGR on my iSeries, listening on port 1416, but I cannot connect to it using MQ explorer on a remote server. The remote server is a monitoring server and we have MQexplorer up on a large plasma screen to watch channel activity.
It works fine with other queue managers, but this is a newly created one.
I've read this:
and in desparation given *PUBLIC *ALL to the elements specified and done a REFRESH SECURITY.
yet I still get an AMQ4036 (Access not permitted. You are not authorised to perform this operations) when trying to add the queue manager into the MQ Explorer View.
Can anyone help explain how to get the correct authority please?
