Hello all
I have had an abend in an MQSeries queue manager with codes S6C6, reason 00E50705. This seems to be caused when a CICS app continually loops and the loop contained an MQ call (not sure which call yet). As a consequence the MQ logs are being filled up and archived at quite a dramatic rate until this abend occurs and the queue manager falls flat on its face.
I have looked up the abend on IBM's site and have found that there is a PTF (well two actually), UQ54021 and UQ53293. But, there are no detailed descriptions of these PTFs and what actually they fix.
Has anyone experienced such an error and applied a fix to solve it.
Much obliged for any help received.
Jim
