Looking for some input on a theoretical "failover" strategy. We rely on MPLS between multiple sites, no Internal routing protocol involved. Is it feasible to have a site-to-site VPN tunnel configured between our main office and branch offices in which I would keep the VPN disabled until an outage on the MPLS side occurs? Each site would have its own Internet access and firewall separate from the MPLS network. so i want to achieve fail-over through extreme switch .
MPLS is teminated on extrme 450e and Internet is connected to firewall.
