hello,
Im using the suse live-eval cdrom, im trying to view mpeg and avi files with real player, it works fine for mp3's(I havent tried wav's), but when I try an mpeg I get "unknown error code 2147745815I", and when I click on "more info" I get nothing?? and with avi's I get "some components are not avaliable to provide palyback of this presentation on your system" and once again, "more info" does nothing... What can I do???

Try using Xine to view those types of files. I haven't tried it myself, yet, but I'm planning to. I just haven't had the time.

I hope this helps.

Both Xine and Mplayer have the W32dll codecs available to view MS Video.

Personally I like Mplayer better, since it handles more file formats including .ASF, but that's a preference thing and Mplayer is sometimes difficult to configure on some machines. J.R. Juiliano
