MP3s, sockets, help!!!

i have successfully created a flash movie that will play an mp3 from the server. yay!

HOWEVER, when the user has a firewall, or uses norton protection, the mp3 fails to load properly.

does anybody have any advice, or comments regarding workarounds. perhaps there is special code i can write to open a needed socket or something? help!! this is an emergency..thanks in advance!

someone mentioned to me that it is simply a matter of finding out what port is needed to load the mp3 - and then opening that port.

does anybody know how to do these things?
