Thanks BTECHO that work's a treat, now I can get MP3 files into a database.. Next problem is, does any one know how to read them back out again, ie play them through a media player..

The tmediaplayer can play mp3 files. There was a nice article on how to write your own on delphi.about.com. I don't know how to play it on microsoft media player (or others).
