MP# loop playback for Shockwave

I am building a site for a client and have a question. They want music embedded in the background of their site and they wanted the music to loop. I created a Director file with the music and embedded it into the page. However, they said they just wanted a 30 second clip and not the whole song, so I edited the song with Acid Pro 3.0, exported the clip to a .wav, then converted the .wav to a .mp3 and built a new Director file. Now, though, the edited clip will not loop. The original file with the full .mp3 looped, but the edited version won't. Does anyone know what the problem may be and what a solution is for the problem?

Hi it is probably the MP3 encoding, with some converters they lose or mess up the MP3 required encoding, so it wont play if the coding is needed, if I was you I would edit the MP3 directly, buy cutting it with MP3Cutter, MP3slicer, MP3doc etc, then it should work, good luck Y2KSK8
