Mozilla Text Problems 1

Hi there. I installed Mozilla on my Suse 9 box without a problem. However I ran the Suse online update program and installed some new X fonts and the MS Truetype fonts that were suggested by the update program. When I go into Mozilla now I can only see the menu text and text on buttons. Not actual text in the HTML page. Any ideas anyone?

Sounds like you have a locale or font/locale problem. No fonts to display...

Any ideas on how to identify the problem or fix it? I've tried changing the fonts in Mozilla preferences but this led to the same thing... I'm using opera and konqueror at the minute but would prefer to use mozilla...

I would make sure that you dloaded and installed all the XFree fonts, services, servers, drivers, and other etceteras that drive XFree. Then I'd take a strong look at ripping out and reinstalling Moz to make sure it was happy.

Thanks I fixed it by uninstalling moz, installing firefox. Then changing the preferences and turning always use my fonts on. Firefox is looking very very good though! A bit buggy but definately the way forward!
