mozilla cannot start

I install apt in my redhat9 box, learn to use apt to upgrade gcc,gcc-c++,cpp,libsdtc++,libgcc,libsdtc++-devel, quite mess then I found I got compat-libsdtc++ and compat-libsdtc++-devel in rpm database. I thought they are installed by apt, so I try to remove them. Not successful. But adter, I cannot start mozilla. I see the network connection is there, I can ping other websites. I tried to reinstall mozilla, still not working. ANy help please? uegently!
 
I try to install Mozilla-1.4.2-0.9.0, still not working. Help!!!!!
 
No error. When I click the icon to run Mozilla, it just run, then it disapper. when I run Mozilla at the terminal windows, nothing happen.
