Does anyone know how to activate the in-line autocomplete feature in Mozilla if it's possible? What about Netscape?
Thanks.

In Netscape it's Edit>Preferences>Navigator>Smart Browsing>Location Bar Autocomplete—assuming you wanted that. If you wanted forms or passwords, they're elsewhere.

Mozilla's usually very similar.

well, accept that it the autocomplete bar feature was on and it still doesn't work - is there a problem in my mozilla browser and I should re-install?

Maybe, but I always do the following first with Netscape/Mozilla:

1. Turn the feature off, kill and restart Netscape/Mozilla, then turn the feature back on. Sometimes successful.

2. Delete the xul.mfl file (seems to act like an XP prefetch file). Sometimes successful.

3. Delete the prefs.js file (actually rename just in case you want it back). Frequently successful, and the rebuilding is usually less than that required for reinstallation.

Good luck.
