I have run into a problem with Mozilla and OpenOffice that I would like to make sure is not something I am doing before I post it as a bug.
Computer 1 - RH 7.2, OpenOffice 1.0.1, Mozilla 1.2.1
Computer 2 - Win 98, OpenOffice 1.0, Mozilla 1.1
Computer 3 - Win 98, OpenOffice 1.0.1, Mozilla 1.2.1
If I send an .sxw file from Computer 1 to Computer 2, I am able to open the file, without any difficulty.
Sending from computer 2 to Computer 1 works as well.
Sending from Computer 1 to Computer 3, I am asked to select the filter to use to open the attachment. No matter what type of filter is selected, the attachment will not open.
I have sent a file from Computer 3 to Computer 1, and will try opening that file when I get home tonight.
This only seems to affect .sxw files. .sxc are not affected. And, the order in which the attachments are added does not matter. If the .sxw file moved using ftp, diskette, etc. the file can be opened on Computer 3 without any problems.
Has anyone seen anything like this? And, is there something I should be checking that I have not?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
