Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to move 3300 Embedded VM messages from a backup file into a live working system ? The scenario is a failed hard drive, the system has been rebuilt from an older backup file but have subsequently managed to get a backup out of the failed hard drive. Rather than do another data restore have tried FTPing the messages using Filezilla into the appropriate mailbox hoping that the users would then be able to listen to them directly from the mailbox. Looking at the folder vmail/d/vm/grp/xxxx I can the messages and they appear to look exactly the same as existing ones in other mailboxes but they do not show up when looking in the users mailbox or if you access it via the handset ? I know we can convert them using vox converter and send them that way but was hoping this way would be easier. I have rebooted a test controller but still do not appear although they are there according to Filezilla. System is 3300 MX running 9.0.3.15.
Any advice much appreciated.
