Moving Veritas to a new server

I am currently running Veritas V9.0 on a Windows 2000 server and want to migrate it over to a new server. The new server will be running 2003. From what I have read it looks like I will have to recreate everything on the new server and start fresh. I don't really mind having to recreate all the jobs and media sets, but what do I do with the media in my current rotation? Such as tape statistics, media groupings and log files? Any help would be great.
