Hello,

I'm installing a new Server for centralized voice mail. The customer has two sites with two vmpro's running on two other desktops servers. Is there a way to move all the accounts and greetings without the new voice mail server thinking that the users are new user? In other words, I would like the customer to not feel the change of server(enter new PW, re-record greeting, Etc.).

consolidate the Accounts, Names and Greetings folders then all the User and Group mailboxes are there already and the system doesn't re-create them.

Also probably the greetings for the auto attendants in the WAVS folder

Password is stored in the system config so no worries about that one

Thanks, I've done that before in previous installs. The voice mail extensions at like new users. Are you saying that I should move the files prior to starting the vmpro service?

Copy the Accounts, Names, Greetings from both existing servers.
Start up the new server, and it will generate blank accounts for all users.
Merge the Accounts, Names, and Greetings folders together.
Rename the new server's Accounts, Names, and Greetings folders to Accounts-OLD, Names-OLD, Greetings-OLD.
Copy the merged folders into the new server
Stop and restart Voicemail and test
