moving to next record without saving

how to move to the next record without saving it
if I set cancel = true in before update the change is not saved in the table but the cursor doesnt move from the record and stays in the old record

I going nuts! Thought I answered this (this happend on another post too, where I'm sure I answered it).

Anyway, try this on the BeforeUpdate event

If (Me.Dirty) then Me.Undo
