Moving to a new server-Arcserve 11.5

Hi,
Here's my scenario:
I currently have an old Arcserve 9.0 server hooked up to a SDLT tape library.
We are replacing these. We now have a new server with Arcserve version 11.5 and a LTO4 tape library. A few questions before I begin the migration:
1. Is there any point in copying over the database from the old server? The catalogs will be for jobs stored on SDLT tapes, which cant be restored on the new library. And I want to start fresh by setting up new job templates
2. How do I point the agents on all the clients to the new server (server name and IP will be different)
Any help or other pointers would be appreciated.

2)agents don't point to the ARCserve server. The backup job is setup to point to the agents.
