new to Congos... literally weeks. built a mdl based on one HUGE transactional table in MS Access and it actually worked.. for the most part. this is a temporary solution until we get a real data warehouse in place. and good practice for me. problem: built the test and actually like it. i now need to move the table to a mssql server to improve performance. how do i move the data source without creating a new model? do i just pull the relocated data source into the new model and delete the old?

Yes. And make sure the column names are the same as in the old datasource. If they are not you can rename them in your model.

thanks for your responses to my posts. i was doing something goofy with my suppress, i guess... because it's working fine now.

Here's my latest issue: Now, I have everything built and I've started doing my daily updates, bringing in new daily sales data. I must have messed something up because now, it's not bringing in the most current data. I had some colums mismatched last week, so I fixed that and unchecked the 'Disconnect from data source' box in my preferences, and my build worked fine. Now it's happening again this morning. I know my colums match, so I unchecked the Disconnect from data source, and re-built... no new data. I must have messed with my preferences or something. Any ideas? Again, thanks for the responses.
